Ha Ha HaIn Memory of Ron Henning who past away suddenly December 15th 2006...Ron had quite the "funky bass" goin' on.....He was a good guy, and he will be missed...Yes, the quality of this video sucks...mainly because Ron's bass blew it apart! Rock of the 60's, 70's, 80's.....Beatles, Chicago Transit Authority (before they wimped out) YES, Supertramp, Genesis (Peter Gabriel is it), Jefferson Airplane, Heart, Fleetwood Mac.....I'll stop....you get the picture. I really love what used to be called Progressive Rock.....YES is the master of that. Classical, deep instrumentation. I thought it did not exist anymore, until I found Farpoint and Analog Missionary! Check them out....They are here!I've always been a BIG PAT BENATAR fan....Still am. I've seen her 9 years in a row now, and counting. I'll go as long as she keeps touring! Yes, July 31, 2007, once again....and....the opening singer LENNON totally blew me away! Check her out!

I saw her in 1988, and she's good as ever. GO, her 2003 album, is great! I like the Bangles much more than I used to...Doll Revolution is a GREAT album! I realized that there is a lot more to those girls than Walk Like an Egyptian! All their albums are great!
I am into Indie Rock now. I NEVER listen to the radio anymore. MTV? VH-1? Get real....It's all bullshyt. I hope this stymied, closed door, greed driven industry changes someday for the many who play so hard to be loved and appreciated. I wonder when/if the kids today will ever figure out they're getting hosed and ripped off with instant glitter stars who lip sync, and "fix" all their voice tracks. and "actors" who don't even play any instuments. Something about spending mega dollars to see some ego head dance around onstage with a music track playing for them irks me. All packaged by the music business. As soon as they take credit for their success?........GONE!!!
I feel the real artists with talent are the ones busting their asses and out there to be heard.....day in day out to all hours of the night. Real character building. When heart, determination, hard work, and gratitude are the motivating forces, great music comes.Enough of the rant....sorry.....I am passionate about my music!

I never, ever thought anyone could possibly de-thrown my "PattyB" as my all time favorite singer.......but....it has happened......BRIGITTE PACE!!!!! She is AMAZING!! Beautiful, strong voice, and she writes ALL her material (Really good songs). Her life partner, Albe plays excellent guitar! He is a master in the studio. I have not heard such elaborate tracks since Pink Floyd! Having the pleasure to see them perform 6 times in Montreal, and meet them, I can truly say they are terrific people with big hearts. Looking at my friend list, you might notice I am just a little partial to the lady rockers.
