About Me

Mooqee Magic
Mooqee caused quite a splash, or perhaps more like a dancefloor tsunami when he exploded onto the scene with the killer track 'Funk Machine Man'. This debut and the string of successful follow up releases have been picked up on by all the scenes heavyweights and had plenty of people shaking what their mammas gave them.
In between creating tracks and co-managing infamous label Bombstrikes, Mooqee can be found pedalling his genre twisting sound through what are becoming legendary dj sets. Mooqee's sets are grown from the same philosophy as his music. Constantly bringing on the funk, it's all about fusing different sounds to rock the party. It's this philosophy that has lead to Mooqee playing alongside dj's such as: Krafty Kuts, Slyde, Deadly Avenger, Touche, Breakfastaz, Freq Nasty and Scratch perverts.
Mooqee has been gathering some serious heat over the last year with airtime from Radio 1 in the UK, hook ups with label mates Beatvandals and Russ from Cuban Brothers…..all with the usual Mooqee style devastation. Dj wise, he has found himself on travels across Europe as well as rocking ‘Chew the Fat’ at ‘The End’ and dropping a very special Superchunk mix for Eddy Temple-Morris’ Xfm show back in the UK.
In addition to the guest bookings he can also be spotted holding down a residency with leading Breaks, beats and funk night 'Sugarbeat club'.
