Add%20to%20My%20Profile | More%20VideosRusty Blaides is an ’old school’ country band with a swingin’ juke-joint heart. They’re inspired by that place in time when the two-step dance halls of America’s heartland embraced the urban swing of the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. The members come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, and are active with an assortment of musical acts, quite literally, throughout the world. This unique combination of talent has created a swingin’ honky-tonk sound that’s truly inspired, and unabashedly original. In 2005 the nucleus for Rusty Blaides was formed, and the band began recording their debut CD. With the release of ‘So Long Gone’ in November of 2006 the band began gigging with more earnest, and adding the only instrument they were missing; the fiddle. 2007 found Rusty Blaides hotter than a two-dollar pistol, opening for the likes of Larry McCray, Jack Ingram, Bill ‘Hot Rod Lincoln’ Kirchen, and Randy Travis. Add Dunegrass, Wheatland, and a slew of other appearances to that list and it’s easy to see they’ve gained a lot of ground in their short history. In 2008 Rusty Blaides will be runnin’ an gunnin’ in high gear, keeping folks clapping and dancing, and grinning from ear to ear.STEELS HEAL THE WORLD!
