The Jammin’ Dodgers

The Jammin' Dodgers, Kids that love to play!

About Me

The Jammin' Dodgers are a young Berkshire UK based rock band with a sound and ability way beyond what you would expect for the time they have been playing their instruments (all less than 1 year). The band was started in November 2007 around Harry Elliott when he was just 8 years old. After playing guitar since April 2007, he had already shown a real talent for playing and singing at the same time. His dream was to be in a band, so the idea of the Jammin' Dodgers (Harry thought up the name) was born. Harry's endearing character and charm makes him a joy for everyone to work with, so we had no end of interest from musicians of all ages when they met him and saw him in action. The following musicians joined forces with Harry to create 'The Jammin' Dodgers'. With a song list of 16 songs already, they aim to be ready to start gigging spring/summer 2008.On lead guitar we have the 'alien' ability of 10 year old Henry Belcher. As the most gifted guitarist I have ever encountered, everyone believes he must be from another planet! Awe inspiring speed, accuracy and feel and a great sense of fun, Henry also provides backing vocals, make him one awesome musician! (as of Feb 2008 he has been playing 5 months!)Providing extra guitar and backing/lead vocals comes in the form of 12 year old Adam Hex. With his uncanny timing and deep powerful vocals for his age, Adam helps create a full sound to the band. The driving Bass of 13 year old Morgan Bates has been added to the band in May 2008. Another talented youngster who has fitted straight into the fun musical world of The Jammin' Dodgers. The powerhouse of the band is 9 year old Rohan Loughlin on drums. A vey talented young drummer, his playing provides the solid foundation on which the band requires to be able to perform to a very high standard. In fact his progress to so amazing, he is in danger of overtaking his drum teacher!
