About Me

We a group of reenactors who put on Gladiator shows. Right now we use needlefelt weapons for combat. We started up in 2006 with our first show at the Austin Celtic Music Festival. Our current roster is as follows: ARIES/ ARES Lanista. I also fight as a Retiarius, Hoplomachus, and Thraex. FALCO asst Lanista. Fights as a Hoplomachus and Secutor. AJAX: Retiarius. LUGOS: Myrmillo. CHIRON: Myrmillo/ Hoplomachus PULLUS COLLUMBO: Myrmillo/ Hoplomachus. BOUDICCA: Provocator NEMISES: Provocator.

My Interests

Classical History, Gladiators, and Reenactments. Oh yes swords and shields.

I'd like to meet:

Any interested in Classical History. Especially those interested in Roman Military and Roman Combat sports history. I'd also like to meet anyone willing to spill their own blood for the entertainment of the crowd.

Music:

Celtic and Roman.

Movies:

Waiting for the definitive Gladiator movie thats historically accurate to come out of Hollywood. There are enough of us reenactors out there for them to do it.

Television:

HBO's "Rome" and "The Last Days of Pompeii." Both had problems, but were fairly good.

Books:

Any thing dealing with Classical History and Gladiators.

Heroes:

Sparticus and Caesar.
