Blank Record is made using just a single sound source. All audio comes from the sound of a piece of blank 7" vinyl playing on a turntable. I broke down each part of audible sound, and manipulated and enhanced it with a sampler.The images are only sourced from the record spinning, digitally enhanced with a 'direct film' approach. It is a statement on commercialism, music and image and how each is portrayed and marketed in the media world.
