* Adem enjoys writing about pop music and, at moments, pop culture.
* So much so, he's currently studying Journalism at University. At the moment, it seems to be going well. Adem has his own pop culture infused website which some people like to visit and, hilariously, even read. That's at www.imalwaysright.co.uk
* He recently wrote a 2,000 word essay on the Madonna/Guy Ritchie movie "Swept Away" for his film studies class, which not only made him the very first person to write anything positive about the movie, but also the first person to actually sit through its entirety.
* Adem's Year 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 report cards all made at least two mentions of him IN EACH YEAR of spending too much time "talking and obsessing over pop culture".
* No one actually informed Adem he could aspire to make a living out of doing just that. He's on a path to possibly fulfilling the dream of spending the rest of his life seated in front of a computer, scribbling notes on the latest ovary flashing incident courtesy of Miss Britney Spears, or calling Lavina from Australian Idol "Queen Latifah." And getting paid for it.
* In year 10, during a careers advisory session at his High School, Adem was told he would be best at working as a Lawyer, a Counselor, a Personal Assistant, or in Public Relations. When Adem finished school he became a barman, worked as a doorbitch, and partook in liver-damaging activity. His aspiring law career went screeching out the window faster than you could say "Lara-Flynn Boyle."
* Adem's childhood dog, Scully, passed away in 2007. It was pretty fucking depressing for all involved. Thankfully, the Young Divas album managed to pull him out of terrifying grief, donning black attire, and being lured into the dark side of an emo-driven lifestyle. Thank heavens, et cetera, et cetera.
* Two years ago, Adem had to quit smoking because his left lung decided to shit itself and cease all operation. He was fixed by some lovely doctors, but unfortunately could not walk for about 2 months after. Unfortunately for everyone else, he was still able to talk.
* Foxtel IQ, The View, Large Sunglasses and Green Tea are just a small selection of things Adem would quite possibly end his life for, were they to be taken away from him.
* Adem's favourite Minogue is most certainly the sister of the "D" variety.
* Adem's favourite member of Girls Aloud changes with each gust of wind that blows through the air. On most occasions though, it is Sarah.
* According to Adem, our Lord & Saviour is not named Jesus Christ, but Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone Ritchie. She recently bought herself a child because she could, and to demonstrate the undeniable fact that not only is natural childbirth incredibly out of vogue, but is something strictly to be left for the poor.
* He managed to convince Big Brother 2005's Vesna to be his friend. Hopefully Dannii Minogue will be as easily convinced.
* If he were an American, he would vote for Rosie O'Donnell as the next President of the United States.
* And if that failed, Yoko Ono would do.
* He also thinks Naomi Campbell is just misunderstood, and is one of the truly gifted poets of our time.
* Adem's favourite quotes are "You just cannot make this shit up" and "They should work with Stuart Price."
* Adem often speaks of himself in the third person.

As for me personally, well, my name is Adem and I like to write. Usually about pop music, but on the odd occasion I venture out into other subjects. Currently I write for Buzz Magazine in Melbourne and have penned goods for Beat Magazine, Onion Magazine, InTheMix, DJTracker, and currently scribble a weekly column for The Hotstuff Files.
