Drums, synths, orchestral sounds and emulations of acoustic instruments have disclosed new horizons for music composition. All instruments seem to be perfect nowadays.As a matter of fact, the taste is artificial, in that synthetic instruments give out a plastic and flat sound. Although you make use of reverberation and compressors, music lacks the magic of the human hand and the vital breath of acoustic sounds.Perhaps the only instruments able to survive after the technological hurricane of the sampling are wind instruments. The discomfort which still today a sampled trumpet can bring about is really great, if compared with the real sound of a real trumpet. Just like the human voice, wind instruments have got several ways of producing sounds (legato-staccato-innuendo-various effects), which are not so easily copiable, especially in solo performances where a trombone or a saxophone come up and are spotted immediately!Last but not the least, mixing up sampled instruments and really played instruments makes the final output more listenable and softens the ugliness of the sampled sounds.So if you are making up a band or a sax quartet, if you have a sax solo in your mind or just feel that something is not going right with the winds, well you have found out the website that solves your problems!!!!!-------------ITALIANO----------------Il sito dedicato a tutti coloro che amano il sax e non rinunciano al suo bellissimo suono!!!!· Puoi finalmente dire basta ai suoni campionati! Le batterie di ultima generazione, i synth, i suoni orchestrali e tutte le emulazioni degli strumenti acustici hanno aperto ala creazione sonora nuovi grandi orizzonti. Tutti gli strumenti ormai sono perfetti!!... C’è ancora però qualcosa che non và nelle produzioni musicali che usano le emulazioni. Quando crei qualcosa usando un set di strumenti tutti sintetici il risultato ha sempre un suono un po’ di plastica. Anche se usi grandi riverberi e compressori e come se alla musica mancasse la mano dell uomo, il respiro vitale dell’ acustico!In questo forse gli unici strumenti che sono rimastri illesi all’uragano tecnologico del campionamento sono gli strumenti a fiato. La difficoltà che ancora oggi si trova a far “suonare†una tromba campionata nonostante sia ottima è molto distante dal suono reale della stessa. I fiati come la voce hanno innumerevoli modi di essere suonati (legato-staccato-crescendo-diminuendo-effetti vari) che “per fortuna†sono difficilmente emulabili soprattutto nelle parti solistiche dove un trombone o un sax emergono e sono quindi scoperti!A questo si può aggiungere che combinare strumenti campionati a strumenti realmente suonati rende il risultato finale molto più ascoltabile e realistico e soprattutto cela molte delle brutture degli strumenti campionati.Così se stai se stai montando una big band o un quartetto di sax o se stai programmando un assolo di sax sul tuo pezzo pop o rock e senti che c’è qualcosa che non và nei fiati, forse hai trovato il sito giusto dove risolvere il problema!!!!!
