I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

The exception to every rule, extremely self-indulgent, kind of a bad influence, serious lack of physical coordination (and always at the perfect time). A pretty down to earth person with just a little spunk. Danger is my middle name. I use the myspace layout generator at UltimateMySpace.com.

My Interests

BORBA, Tavalon Tea in NYC, driving at excessive speed, floral arranging, anything pink, money, exclamation points(!!!!), sailing, hygiene, explosives, Dodger games, metro mint: a well-packaged party-in-a-bottle, diet rockstar, cell phone ring tones (who knew $2.50 could bring such happiness?), nicorette, the stairs in Santa Monica, godiva, celebrity gossip, volleyball, golf, travel, sleep, vegan food, Starbucks, Malibu, vintage cars, yoga, architecture, ebay, my little shih-tzu, peanut butter and jelly, anything considered superficial, your mama.

I'd like to meet:

Someone shorter than me; I have faith. People who intend to leave this world better than how they found it. Seriously, I always think I have enough friends, but then I seem to keep meeting the most amazing people that I can't imagine life without....

Music:

According to my husband, I stopped liking any music after 1997 - that's probably true. But really, anything that makes forget I'm in traffic or want to shake it: The Scene (they're hip, they're cool, they're now), Program The Dead, U2, nine inch nails, Which Ones Pink?, Ghostland Observatory, eighties, house, Journey (strictly for sentimental purposes), oldies, even a little Snoop D-O-Double-G every once in a while, but NO country. While we're on the subject, I'd like to say that David Bowie is a god (Can I get an Amen?).

Movies:

anything with a happy ending - I like happy endings.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, Golf, Fox news, E!

Books:

Candace Bushnell, Velveteen Rabbit, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Poe, A Confederacy of Dunces

Heroes:

Gaudi, Toby, my parents - all four of them and my Bad Ass brother, Blakey

What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas....

ESPECIALLY when there's paperwork involved! Okay, people, lesson learned: don't get married after dating for two weeks. Ryan and I are getting divorced. Obviously, there are hurt feelings and now we'r...

marriage rumors

On April 17, 2007 I married the love of my life. It's come as quite a shock to everyone (especially my parents), but I'd like to clarify to those that have yet to receive a phone call from Ryan or I. ...

Has anyone seen my pants?

If I had a dollar for every time I heard that one...No, seriously, I'm missing them! They're my favorite pair of black cotton workout pants, and they're too short for ANYONE else to consider stealing ...

an open letter....

This is a repost from Rob's blog. I happened to be at this party and (fortunately) never saw the aftermath. However, I did hear about it a couple days later. Being the sober one in the crowd, I'm off ...

bitter/ sweet

So, I've been on this show since October. The ending is actually a little sad (yet relieving). FYI: it's a mockumentary (like the Office) of the porn industry.... Disturbing? Yes, but freaking hilario...

Final Words To Sparky The Fish

Dear Sparky, I called your fish-sitter to find out how you were doing and have her put the phone up to your bowl to say hello. You can only imagine how devastated I was to find out she had accidentall...

some say imitation is the highest form of flattery

Things could be worse, I suppose. But I'm a little irritated because I put a lot into what I do. And given the circumstances, this was a major challenge: create a news set for a mock-studio in Kazakhs...

if you have a few minutes to spare, you have to watch this

I might just be easily amused because I'm still at work (yes, midnight on a Friday), but my step dad just emailed this to me and I think it's the funniest thing ever:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMH...
