About Me

I'm a proud L.A. native. While I act my age most of the time, I still feel like I have allot in common with a wonder eyed kid that got his first Star Wars figure. I can't stand Religious Right Neo Cons or anyone that feels good about the current state of affairs in our country. If I was granted a dream job it would be life observation with full coverage, holiday bonuses and frequent videogame breaks.I got 99 Problems but a Bitch ain't one.

My Interests

Huge Videogame Junkie, Music, Movies, Computers, Smoking more then Drinking, Miami Dolphins Football, Los Angeles Lakers, Argentine Food, Being a Fancy Pants Elitist L.A. Liberal

I'd like to meet:

Dan Marino. Anyone giving away free money, SWG Bria credits or WOW Bloodhoof gold.

Music:

Stand outs are: NIN, Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, TOOL, A Perfect Circle, The Doors, The Chameleons UK, Nick Cave, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Bauhaus, Type O Negative, Clan of Xymox, Front 242, The Cult, David Bowie, The Dandy Warhols, Dead Can Dance, Devo, Faith and the Muse, Garbage (1st album), Gary Numan, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Joy Division, Love and Rockets, Massive Attack, Ministry (older), Oingo Boingo, Ozzy, P.I.L, Pink Floyd, Portishead, Prince (mainly his revolution days), Radiohead, Siouxsie and the Banshees, U2, The Verve, The White Strips

Movies:

Stand outs are: Blade Runner, Alien and Aliens, Star Wars (including the prequels even though they suck compared to the original trilogy), X2, Apocalyse Now, Goodfellas, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, The Crow, Sin City, Evil Dead Trilogy, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hero, The LOTR Trilogy, George Romero's Dead Movies, The Dawn of the Dead remake (uncut), Gladiator, Naked Lunch, Wild at Heart, Blue Velvet, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Spiderman 1 & 2, Pitch Black, Saving Private Ryan, Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense, The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China, Bubba Hotep, Shaun of the Dead, Indiana Jones Trilogy, L.A. Television:

There's not much on TV I like except Adult Swim (minus Tom goes to the Mayor), The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Real Time with Bill Maher, Rome, Deadwood, Lost, Battlestar Galactica (old and new), Monday Night Football (when the Dolphins play) and the ridiculous antics of the WWE. I used to really enjoy Farscape (best character development in tv sci-fi), Carnival and Six Feet Under (amazing final episode). Band of Brothers gets a special mention. That's allot more then "not much" I guess.

Books:

Lately, the only books I've been reading are software manuals. I finally got to A Brave New World over a 5 week stretch, that's how little I've been reading. I like Philip K. Dick, Kurt Vonnegut, Aldous Huxley, Neil Gaiman and I still like reading Marvel Comics. The Vampire Chronicles were a good read but only the 1st two books. Ayn Rand can suck it.

Heroes:

My baby, August Dawn. She's the best thing that ever happened to me. Jim Morrison for showing me long haired freaky people can be genius and high 24/7, Kurt Vonnegut for practicing Humanism and reminding us how to do it, George Carlin for cutting through the Bullshit and making me laugh, Bill Clinton for giving me and my generation the best years under which we lived out our 20's.

Kurt Vonnegut Has Become Unstuck In Time

From Moriarty on aintitcool.com:At 84, the shadow that Kurt Vonnegut still cast over the literary landscape in America is profound and remarkable. His body of work may not be the largest... he leaves ...

In Saban we Bust

Once again Dolfan's get a broken heart. Once again the team has to look for another head coach and "rebuild" which means no play off appearance (let alone a bowl game) for another few seasons. If Jaso...

California is STILL for Californians!!!!

I went to bed last night depressed. The polls for the November Special Election looked to be going Arnold's way. It made me feel like California wasn't the state I grew up in and love. I thought ...
