**The Count is 3 is on an Indefinite Hiatus. Band members have decided to pursue other musical interests**
The Count is 3 Started in the late frigid months of 2005 in Anoka Minnesota with Jake Nylund (Guitar and Backup Vocals) and Brian Taylor (Bass and Lead Vocals) and an illusive drum machine. Producing a few songs and recording them with a simple [yet effective] 8 track recorder, they realized that the tunes sounded cool so they posted them on a Myspace page and just like that "The Count is 3" Was Born! After receiving positive feedback, they decided to pursue a drummer. After a month or so of searching, their problems were solved. In December of 2005 Isaac Peterson (Drums) joined the band along with a rhythm guitarist, and after only 2 practices tried out for a local talent show and made it in. Since then, The Count is 3 has Gone through 2 rhythm guitarists and has played large local shows at First Avenue and at the Triple Rock Social Club. The Count is 3, currently a 3 piece band, has been gaining attention as one of the few and dominant pop/punk bands in their area. Lost in a sea of metal bands, "The Count is 3" get will get your attention with catchy upbeat progressions, ear pleasing vocal harmonies and inspirational and at some times comical lyrics.
