My name is Amy. I'm 20. I love music. I have amazing friends. My family drives me insane 95% of the time. I go to a lot of concerts. I am on the internet all the time. I drink a lot of Mountain Dew. My top four favorite bands are The Rocket Summer, Holiday Parade, Close To Home, and Ludo.

I don't mind gory movies. I enjoy eating pickles, but do not enjoy eating asparagus and spinach. I am a sucker for things that make me cry. I push a lot of people away unintentionally. I adore Chinese food. I like being crafty (sewing, painting, etc.).
Music gets me through so much. I don't know where I would be without it. From family problems to friend problems, I know that music will always be there when I need it. My favorite band is The Rocket Summer. Bryce writes the most inspirational lyrics. He's one of those guys that when you meet him the first time, you're at a loss for words. He's one of those guys that does so much for so many and deserves way more than a thank you. I'll never be able to tell him fully how I feel and what he's done for me. I admire him so much. Another of my favorite bands is Holiday Parade. Again, their music has gotten me though so much. I love how much they care about their fans and they deserve so much more than they have. Meeting them for the first time, I couldn't help but thank them for making my first show of theirs absolutely perfect. They mean so much to me and I know they'll get very far. Close To Home is another of my favorite bands. They've gone through so much with the loss of their bass player, Brad to cancer. Since then they've done nothing but live out Brad's dream. They are one of the most successful unsigned bands I've ever had the pleasure of seeing and meeting. When I saw them the first time, Josh had already recognized me from myspace. Seeing them the second time, it was like we were already good friends. This band is so down to earth and absolutely amazing at what they do. Look out for them. Ludo is the more well known of my favorites. They put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen. They are hilarious on stage and their music is super catchy and fun. Meeting them is no different. I instantly smiled when I met them. They are so chill. If you've never listened to them, do it. It'll be worth your time.
I recently got into reading. Like I said in my Basics section, I like things that make me cry. Lurlene McDaniel writes some of the best tear jerkers I've ever read and they are so good. I also love the Twilight Saga. I like disney channel a lot. I watch a lot of it and I'm not afraid to admit that I like Camp Rock a lot. My favorite TV shows are Greek, Secret Life of the American Teenager, Intervention, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and those stupid reality shows on MTV.
