ABOUT ME:I am a painter. . and a writer... I went to school for painting................. waitressing has been interesting......................and a theatre minor............................. and so is cleaning houses....... I've had my own studio and found some success................................I love TEMPING.............. hung my paintings in restaurants and open studios..............................yeah I'd like some more red wine........................... moved to New York.................legal secretary at 55th and Park............and I was deluded into thinking theatre had some prosperity...................a 40 ft latter ? yeah I can paint from there......................................I had originally sought to be a playwright - but wasn't sure if I would design sets.....................more TEMPING, got it............................................... then I found standup comedy............ I'll have another glass of whatever this is.....................I love comedy............... I've had some success with that too.................an all-women show ?..sure, no problem.......................I worked on cruiseships for a couple of years performing solo and in a comedy duo. I even worked as a magician's assistant... that was really cool. I started doing comedy at "the Vault".............all new beginnings should be in a dank basement...................... eventually I got into acting. I love the stage.. I love plays, reading them.. I love the process of how to tell a story on stage........where you delve into it and I love the humbling journey of looking deeper into story and character and how you get new revelations with each production about life and humanity and stuff ! The bottom line is the world doesn't make sense to me unless I'm creating art............................I took those personality tests in college for career placement and they basically put me in the "hippie living in a volkswagon visionary" category. But honestly, I love acting and standup. My friends, well more like colleagues - other comics have given me the most incredible feedback and helped me get gigs and have been amazing. I couldn't have gotten as far as I have without other Boston comics to be specific. And of course the fabulous directors that I have worked with... they have inspired me, given me advice.. and most importantly, told me how fabulous I am ! ! ! ! Performing is my love.. how blessed I am to be able to say that ! ! !
