It all started with the filmmaker and musician Per Forsgren.
After 15 years in film he got some time off last summer and went to his forest cabin with a guitar. There, 20 songs came rapidly;
"Things which had been on my mind for 15-20 years suddenly showed up in music and lyrics"
Well back in Stockholm he called up one of his old friends, Monica Törnell. She said yes instantly and then more old and new friends went on board;
Freddie Wadling, Karin Wistrand, Örjan, Mattias and Jonas from FleshQuartet, Michael Blair, Lizzie Zackrisson, Mats Burman, Ulf "Rockis" Ivarsson, Christer Björklund, Verner Westlund, Staffan Ljusberg, Björn Hillman, Lisa Rydberg and Björn Ståbi, Pelle Alsing, Göran Schultz, Per Karlsson, Staffan Astner and Robert Öberg.
The recording was set up in the studio Big Island Sound situated in Stockholm, with producer Tom Van Heesch.
The record is out now in stores as Mother "LP".
A new Mother record will be recorded later this year.
