About Me

Tom Waits: Rain Dogs, Downtown Train, Time, Hang On St. Christopher...Elvis Costello: Veronica, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, God's Comic...Lou Reed: What's Good, Magic and Loss, Power and the Glory...Shawn Colvin: Steady On, Diamond in the Rough, Another Long One...The Creeps: Ooh I Like It, Back on Track, Blue Tomato...Victoria Williams: Tarbelly and Featherfoot, Summer of Drugs, Lift Him Up...Hal Willner: Gunslinging Bird (with Chuck D), Freedom (with Dr. John)... Bashing trashcans and thumping timpani, sqeezing pet toys and powertools, it's all good. Life is short, so let's make noise. As mentioned above, my percussive stylings have included hammering furniture for Tom Waits, plonking the "magic table" for Elvis Costello, and sonically framing the vivid stories of Lou Reed.As an indie record producer, I have steered the ship for Victoria Williams, Sven Zetterberg, Ryan Adams, Shredhead, On, Le Fox, Anywhen, Malin Dahl, and The Matt Pistol Project. And as a writer, I have enjoyed adding music or words to the worlds of Sunrise Avenue, The Rasmus, poet Allen Ginsberg, Eve to Adam, Weeping Willows, Kee Marcello, Sandi Strmljan.Much gratitude goes to producer/visionary Hal Willner. His good taste, patience and friendship are much appreciated.
