Malin Dahl

Malin Dahl is me. I am a songwriter and singer based in Stockholm. I spent the last two years recording and producing the ten Bonsai songs that are to be released very soon. I have been writing melodies since I was given a cassette tape with the Dolittle-album on the one side and Loveless on the other. And lyrics since I found the Famous Blue Raincoat scribbled down all blurred on a cardboard-coaster in a pair of borrowed jeans. Many moons ago. I spent a good few years playing for pennies and beer in the streets of Prauge, London and Copenhagen recording on whatever was around in that city at that time. The Bonsai songs were recorded and trimmed in collaboration with Rodrigo Munoz Alquinta and Michael Blair at Bonsai Studios in Stockholm.
