The PROJECT VOYAGER is a fantastic musical voyage in space which follows the orbits of the two VOYAGER spacecraft.
Back in 1977 NASA launched Voyager 1 & 2 to explore the outer planets of our solar system. Thirty years later as a musician I wanted to make the same trip, adding a few more stops along the way! I was fasinated by asronomy since I was a kid and this project is a direct result of my fascination with astronomy and music! The challenge for me was to create all the sounds in these music trakcs without a keyboard or a synthesizer. Instead, I only used my guitar together with a guitar pedal by Electroharmonics (micro synthesaizer) and a multieffects prossesor by Behringer (new Virtualizer) and Behringers multicomp (stereo compresor). After lots of experiments and trials I managed to create the electro sounds presented here. Everything in Project Voyager is played by hand with the exception of a few drum sounds of course....
