I was born & raised in Brooklyn, New York. In my opinion I couldn't have grown up in a better place. I lived in Coney Island most of my life, a couple of blocks from the Atlantic. I learned at a young age to appreciate music. It was everywhere! You heard it blasting from cars & peoples homes & it made them happy & so I learned to love it for all it's worth. My parents had an old Zeneith with speakers as tall as me at that age. We loved the radio & all the different kinds of music we would find on it. It had a dual cassette, so me & my sister would tape all sorts of things from the radio & also our voices from the mic plug in. I found that I could do alot of voices & that made people laugh & I love that. (tapping into the Aethers) So I would start doing mock newscasts on these tapes & pretend to be all these different people. Years later, still with the voices, I started writing raps with a friend in 5th grade & it was more to show off these voice personalites & have fun, instead of leading a revolution. So I actually dropped that for drawing. I got really good at that, for my age. When I got into Jr High I started up writing again, but this time I found that I had become much better at putting rhyming words together, yet still managed to stick in some of those different voices in there. (we need more RANGE!) I was very on & off again with it because I liked to try alot of new things, constantly!I then ended up going to Lafayette high school...which was insane. It was the 1st school in Brooklyn to have x-ray machines (like at the airport), cops as security gaurds, metal detectors, gates on most windows & Marlboro projects right across the street. I would cut out from there all the time & go to Dewey High school, which was more like a college campus. There, I made the friends I wanted & also got into raves.(freestyle, house, techno, trance, breaks) Now this was back when the Storm Rave era was just ending, so I got to go to a few of those. I love this music! I would go over to see Frankie Bones, Adam X, Heather Heart & Jimmy Crash at Sonic records on ave U, all the time after "school". I loved the complexity of the music & the different layers of sounds working together, sort of like a symphony. It was all about the build up & drops for me.My sister actually took me to my 1st club(all ages), Intensity's (under the sheepshead bay's train station). I soon after gathered some friends & it was off to the big city to check out "NASA" at the shelter.( DB! ) It was there where I saw Moby in his undergroud heyday playin his power hour set. Lots of great DJ's played there, so there was always good music bumpin. I met tons of new peoples & started going out to raves & parties all over the city. I went to this one rave upstate & it was there I fell in love....with DRUMM & BASS! The party was called Liquid Visions & this was early 95. It was in this abandoned supermarket & in the back of the place, in the storage/freight area in the darkness of the back room, I saw the light.I became obsessed with this sound, which happed to be Hip Hop speed up double time. I started hitting up Konkrete jungle in the city every monday. I started practicing how to rhyme to it & over the years I found that I had become much better at it. In this era I was teamed with Myng who is a very skilled DJ & producer. We practiced so much we both learned each others timing extremely well. We were able to experiment freely with a vast array of music styles. The only thing permanent is change.I then decided to go on a mission of temporal relocation (I have 3 main reasons why) & hitch-hiked around the US. I ended up in the Pacific NW & fell in love with the green here.(insert subplot here) I decided to stay & root myself in my new home. I also came across some software & starting making tracks & this has been for about 6 years. I've met some great peoples in This NW. (Shout out to Kinger G & Potland!) (Shouts out to all my Heroes in Paragon City & my Villains on the Rouge isles!)I like to make all types of digital tracks, Hip Hop, DnB, Ambeint, Tribal, Maddness...a mix of all, plus I stuck in there; my manic voicings whenever I could. I experiment alot with sounds & my voice & I love a well placed sample. "Love's gonna get ya" "It's ironic, don't ya think" (C'mon, I hear it! .....just beggingtogetsampledmumblemumblemumble)
