Welcome to Paragon City, and the City of Heroes, the online world that’s home to an entire universe of heroes, where you and thousands of other players take on the roles of super powered beings in a stunning online world.

In 2004 City of Heroes® was launched, bringing the world of comic books alive in the first massively multiplayer game of its kind, and winning numerous awards. In 2005, City of Villains® was unleashed, representing the dark side of the super-powered struggle, and letting players be the bad guy.

Today, the battles continues. Players can choose to be good, and fight crime in Paragon City™, or to be evil, and seek power in the Rogue Isles™ . Players have created millions of unique heroes and villains, formed SuperGroups, built bases, forged alliances, and fought on the front-lines! The only question you need to ask is whether you will be a beacon of justice, defending Paragon City from villainous foes, or whether you will turn to infamy and selfishness and help the evil Lord Recluse™ bring the city to its knees!
