Carolina Eyck began taking theremin lessons with Lydia Kavina at
the age of 7 and can now look back on a remarkable
international career. She has been invited by well-known orchestras
and chamber musicians and is a frequent guest at festivals and shows.
With her book "The Art of Playing the Theremin" she published in 2006, Carolina defines a
systematic method of playing the theremin. With this method she hopes
to increase the number of people interested in the theremin and
professional playing thereminists, in order to give the instrument its
definite place within the music world.
Currently, Carolina is studying the viola with Henrik Frendin at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
