KETASTROPHY

BIOGRAPHY:
KETASTROPHY is a band project of 3 unique musicians of German-Asian-British background. The band consists of Keno, Taan & Storm, thus the name “KeTaStrophy”
The music can best be described as a wild and energetic mixture of various music styles such as Electro, House, Nu Rave, Disco, Funk, Rock & Hip-Hop resulting in what could be called “Electro-Funk-Hop”.
The 3 multi-instrumentalists who all play piano, guitar, bass & drums etc. are no newcomers to the music game, all of them have been performing as singers, rappers, MCs/hosts and musicians in various projects on stage or in the studio. In addition they also worked successfully behind the boards as songwriters, producers and remixers for such artists as: Madonna&Britney, P.Diddy&B2K, Sugababes, Lil’Jon&Usher, Lisa Maffia, Beenieman, Nalin&Kane… their work as songwriters also got honored with a Grammy Nomination in 2004! They also worked closely together with dance artists/DJs such as Denis The Menace & Chopstick, since they all grew up together.
“We got very tired of being in the studio and working with the industry and so-called artists, where we had no creative freedom and could not follow our own musical vision at all”, they explain and that’s why they decided to pick up their instruments again, form the band Ketastrophy, have a few jam sessions and create something from the heart which they could be proud of.
Being surrounded by new electronica club sounds of Berlin, it was only natural to combine the dirty and gritty street and club sounds with more eclectic and musical styles to a very powerful mix. KETASTROPHY is set and ready to show the world their new music when they perform as a hot live-act and will definitely set the roofs on fire!!! "WE’RE SOOO BAD, WE’RE LIKE A KETASTROPHY!"
