DJ Reg startet buying his first records for House and Black musics back in 1995. While working in a store for urban sports- and streetwear during his school graduation, he felt in love with black music. Beeing a writer in the Graffiti crew KROne since 1994, he was now more then ever in the Hip Hop culture scene, writing and spinning. He enjoyed spinning and working on scratches and technical ways and started rocking first jams and parties as DJ REG in 1996/1997.
In 1998 he become live-DJ for a dancecrew called B.I.M. (body in motion) and travelled with this crew throughover Germany.
In 1999 he started his first resident job in new club in his hometown "Red Room". The club charted and became one of the best clubs in Stuttgart (PRINZ Magazine Awards 2000), people allover Germany knew the name.
According to that he founded the DJ formation "Jamix Crew" with his former DJ collegue DJ Crossword. Because of changes in the profession, Crossword quitted in 2000. In that time REG still was on fire and had allready 3 resident jobs and a lot of bookings from Munich to Hamburg.
2001 was the most important year for DJ Reg.
Lotus Club in New York Mannhattan invited him to spin some records in September 2001. After the attacks on 9/11 this date was cancelled and he had to stay in Germany with the ticket in his hands.
Therefore he was choosed to one of the top 5 DJs in Stuttgart, throughover the multiple choice awards by Sub-Culture Magazine Stuttgart. This is really amazing, because he became chosen by the field "others", where fans put in his name.
End of 2001 he reformed the Jamix Crew and founded the Jamix Crew Germany with "MoPhonk". Today Jamix Crew is: Black Music DJs: DJ Reg, DJ MoPhonk, DJ Low Life and DJ Steve Money; House DJs: DJ Harold Brisco; MCs: LH-One and MoPhonk and Writer: Reg and LH-One.
In 2002 he become more and more known. Reg had his first mix-session on air at Cosmium Beats - BIG FM. He became member of his first booking agency and travelled as DJ troughover Germany.
In 2006 DJ Reg is name the people know for best partys and best sounds throughover Germany. His style is unique: clean mixing with lots of technical influences. He is down with scratches, backspins, doubles and juggles and controls partycrowd and the dancefloor. "The Party-Rocket" (Sub-Culture) is flexible and known for his great selection of diiferent sounds. Primary RnB and Hip Hop, Soul, Old School, Miami Bass, Reggae and Dancehall as well as Disco Sounds from 70ies, throughover the 80ies, to the early 90ies - he is mixing it in a unique way and keeps a great level.
