About Me

About CrossrhodesCrossrhodes sound is Parliment meets the Beatles/ UTFO and little bit N.E.R.D.S... Based in Washington DC- The members of Urban Ave 31, a loose-knit group of musicians, vocalists and artists championing what they call "soul fusion." Kleofus Joynz aka W.Ellington Felton and Chronkite. Working with artists and producers such as Sy smith and Kev Brown you can expect a sound of soul music with a touch of hip hop. Kleofus Joynz is the voice behind the singing & the emcee of the group while Chronkite lends his soothing voice..They are both singer/song writers and producers..besides music these triple threat gentlemen also acts on the side. Recently they were seen in the movie "multitudes of mercie' that aired on BET worldwide Dec 1, 2005 where W.Elllington Felton starred as the lead in the movie( with guest apppearances by Raheem Devaughn & Malcolm-Jamal Warner) that brings AIDS awareness to the youth of today. Crossrhodes brings that intellegent music with a powerful message that MTV is missing, still the young viewers can relate to. The lyrics are witty and smart "3 Sides" featuring Sy Smith is a hit that can be played in the club. They have shared the stage with UK Soul legend Omar among other great artists and will be touring overseas /spring 06, Scandinavia, Europe and Japan...much more is to come from Crossrhodes I created my profile with Myspace Layouts+
