About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
i'm old school and stubborn about it. I still buy records, not cd's. my phone doesn't flip, take pictures or e-mail. i wear troop tracksuits, not enyce and am so out of tune, i thought the g-unit was a ward in the hospital for the "special" kids" ( i wasn't to far off on that one). And oh I have a fan-FRICKEN-tastic sense of humor. As if you couldn't already tell. i was once told that if i was anymore laid back i would be horizontal. But like Beres said, "don't mistake my kindness for weakness." (really please, it would save us all a lot of headaches) i dj and host a radioshow on ckln 88.1fm in toronto (www.ckln.fm). previously did radio in calgary (cjsw, who remebers chocolate city w/dj incognito and of course the groove) But all of that hoopla you can find on my site plus mixes and other goodies www.onthestrength.ca family and friends you can trust are always most important to me. (dare i say more important than my records?) even though this lil peice here may not indicate it but I don't like to talk about myself. I am more of a listener and an observer. henceforth my other aka sir realism. But I know sometimes it is called for to step up to the plate in order to get things done. (like networking on a website w/random strangers). Any other questions you may have about the loveable warmhearted individual that is myself drop me a line.o.s.u.m <[pronounced awesome>]

My Interests

music (of course), web design, photography, comic books, comedy, movies, chillin with friends and family. bike riding, surfing the net for knowledge, staying up mad late hours on the computer experimenting with some new freeware. holding up the wall at a jam when everybody else is on the dancefloor with some boogie in their butts. (oooh big surprise, a dj who is a wallflower)

I'd like to meet:

The people who casts the taste test judges for Iron Chef. A brotha HUNGRY!!!

Music:

on any given day i might have some Rakim, portrait, cutty ranks, blue six, amel larrieux, michael jackson, dolemite, last poets, public enemy, mathematik, marvel, bahamadia bounty killer, invisibl skratch piklz, malcom mclaren, hall & oats, gino vanelli, van hunt, dwele, bilal, jill scott, jazzy jeff, n.w.a, paris, dead prez, doug e fresh, schooly d, parliment, crusaders, smokey robinson, fast eddie, jungle brothers, prince or martin lawrence on the turntable. Yes I said turntable. A wax fiend till i dizie. But that's just the mainstream shit everybody else knows. Anybody who knows me knows i dig deep and make an effort to keep my ear to the ground. The ..1 reason i am here. to get the exclusies and rare type joints so i can bless the airwaves with GOOD MUSIC!

Movies:

breakin, warriors, scarface, dumb and dumber, dirty pretty things, hapiness, kids, any rudy ray more or bruce lee flick. Actually any kung fu flick. monsters inc (my lil sis got me hooked). not a huge movie buff but if i am going to see it's probably comedy or kung-fu. sorry ladies if it seems limited in my tastes, romance movies just aren't my thing (yeah yeah boo in me). i think i'll survive ok knowing i've never seen the wedding planner or a dirty dancing

Television:

call for help (g4tv), mythbusters, dave chapelle, south park, family guy, raptors tv, muchvibe, martin. not much of a tv guy.mostly have it on for visual stimulation while on the computer or listening to music.

Books:

The autobiography of Malcom X, Bass culture, Monster, Six Out Seven. Not an avid reader. most of my literary consumption nowadays consists of .. manuals, computer books and music magazines.

In Da Mix

I can't front, when it comes to self promotion it ain't exactly my niche. I think it's due in part that I would never want deejaying to be my sole bread and butter. But for those who have chosen a spe...
