About Me

I'm a violinist/fiddler, mandolinist, guitarist, songwriter and composer. I have played and written music of various styles including country, rock, bluegrass, classical, progressive rock and jazz fusion.I have toured with Buddy Jewell as fiddle/utility player since 2005 and as bandleader since 2007. I toured U.S. Military installations in Iraq with Aaron Tippin in 2007. In the summer of 2008 I'll be on tour with the Honky Tonk Tailgate Party in the band for Mark Wills, Trent Willmon, Ray Scott, and Buddy Jewell.I have been a member of Bogus Pomp, the world's foremost Frank Zappa tribute ensemble since 1999.I was the bandleader, principal composer, violinist, and guitarist for Alabama based progressive-fusion-jam band Iratowns from 1995-2006.I was concertmaster of the Auburn University Symphony Orchestra from 1993-1996.I have collaborated onstage with Col. Bruce Hampton, Jeff Sipe, Napoleon Murphy Brock (The Mothers of Invention), Future Man (Bela Fleck and the Flecktones), John Herman (Widespread Panic), Leftover Salmon, Rollin' in the Hay and Taylor Hicks, among many others. I have performed numerous times at the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium, as well as at Dolphins stadium in Miami and the Paris Country Music Festival in France.
