Spoz's Rant
Forget the fads. Newtonheath aren’t a band you'll see chasing trends. These four seasoned musicians share a long-term love affair with music and a genuine commitment to their loyal following at home in Adelaide and abroad.

With Matthew Ho and Rachel Warburton (previously Edison Music) at the helm, joined by Daniel Gaskin (Sumi) and Shaun Reilly (Before It All Ends), Newtonheath draws on diverse influences but delivers a cohesive sound.

Since first hitting the stage in April 2007, Newtonheath’s tight and dynamic live show has already seen them share the stage with the likes of Horsell Common, Blueline Medic, Behind Crimson Eyes, Dopamine (UK) and Liam Finn (NZ). Their debut album “Come Together and Unite” articulates the band perfectly and is currently turning heads with its anthemic rock numbers, dark dance grooves, heartfelt vocals and a musical maturity seldom associated with a debut release.

If you’re looking for a cookie cutter band, then Newtonheath is not for you. If original Australian music is your thing, you can't afford to miss this band.

COME TOGETHER AND UNITE is OUT NOW through Green Media/MGM.
