When you do criminal profiling as a living, you need hobbies that aren't related to death and mayhem! So, I dance (modern Indian dance - Bollywood style), I play Scrabble (in clubs and in tournaments), I travel (last year I made it to India, China, and Hawaii), and I am learning the piano and studying Hindi. I also love to read and there is never enough time to read fun books (outside of the criminal profiling field)!
Some people ask if I want to meet any serial killers and the answer is a resounding "NO!" I could care less about visiting prisons and chatting with these creeps. Serial killers don't deserve friends and I am not about to drop by to amuse them. The only serial killers I ever want to talk with are the ones I am trying to put away.
