ZARAKAN

The formation of ZARAKAN is a growing East/West legend. Two guys, both well seasoned fully professional hard working and life dedicated musicians, both well known and highly respected in their seperate fields, and both with credible non superstar live performance history supporting major names for many years; one a bass player/vocalist/record producer/vocal trainer, one a guitarist/guitar teacher; both songwriters; both life long motorbikers from good lovin' biking families; who met quite by chance under a tree to escape the heat of the mid-day sun in a very remote Kashmir village while travelling in India to gain wisdom and knowledge only to discover they were from the same County back home. Music was discussed, songs were written, a suitably compatible kick ass rock drummer was added in 2008 after many were auditioned and so from the songs, the band "ZARAKAN" evolved, and was named ( in the name of the Kashmir village) and all with very much appreciated practical help and enthusiastic encouragement from people on Myspace who like the ZARAKAN kick ass love and biker rock sound.
