Selected in Round 2, 47th Pick Overall by the Montreal Canadians in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft
Here's some quick Rory facts.....
Was probably the single most useless player on the Buffalo Sabres defence. Is now probably the single most useless player on the Vancouver Canucks' defence.
Typically seen on the ice allowing the opposing team to score goals, or in the penalty box allowing the opposing team to score goals.
Helped lose the Eastern Conference Finals for the Buffalo Sabres in the 2005-06 season.
The Canucks made Rory feel special by letting him win the team shooting accuracy contest.
Rory was out hiking the Grouse Grind one day when he was attacked by two bears. He killed one with his bare hands. He then used the dead bear as a hand puppet, with which he mocked the other bear until it died of embarrassment.
Everything Rory knows about hockey he learned from playing Blades of Steel.
Plus/minus ain't nothin' but a number to Rory.
Rory once built a time machine. He went back to August 1944 to help the Allies fight the Germans. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, the Allies were able to close the Falaise Pocket, kill 10,000 German troops and capture 50,000 more. Now while this is a well known fact, not many people know that before Rory fought in Normandy, he went back to July 1944 and informed Hitler of the plot to assassinate him just in time to save Hitler from a bomb. Rory did this because he felt it would have been too easy and rather unsporting to beat the Germans had Hitler died.
Known to the ladies as his alter-ego, "Eddie Rorrero".
Rory, if you actually do see this....I really would like to meet you. I did vote for you several times in All Star balloting
