'Ugly' by Constance Briscoe is a must to read. Many descendents of Afro Caribbean parents will relate to the story that she tells about her experience.

Heroes:

My main heroes include my parents, grandparents and anscestors.Following them include the Great Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Nelson Mandela, HIM Haile Selassie I, Bob Marley...I could go on but I do believe you can hear where I'm coming from.Gentleman - Dem Gone (Reggae)
