THE SARACEN KREW:..... 1991. By age 12, me & my two friends PLAYBOY & DOLLAZ D started a Sound System called THE SARACEN KREW. (Big up to Playboy for the NAME) We started of playing Reggae & Dancehall before being introduced to R&B. As we were too young for the club scene we built up our rep by playing at family parties & get togethers. Because the majority of our friends were older than us & we DJS we were taken to clubs the Manchester club scene. In the space of a few years we played in over seven cities around the UK, blending our Reggae style with R&B. The place we kind of made a name for ourselves was at a beach party in GREAT YARMOUTH. THE VIPZ::..... In 1997 we introduced two more members, CRIMINAL (Kelvin Emporia) & CUPID ( Peter Mihedji) & changed our name to THE VIPZ. We then started to attract a new following & DJ at different venues including: Club Afrodiza & Lloyds wine bar. There were a lot of changes at this time with there being more members of our crew. We were getting older & having different opinions. THE TENERIFE AFFAIR::..... By the year 2000 we had the city locked, playing at Manchester's number 1 spot Club Renaissance (old brams & liss) @ Our night called HYPNOTZE. I recalled the DJS that I grew with P.I.C. Yeh I no most of u would say Club Havana was the number 1 spot but we had our time while it lasted!! HA HA. DJ DEVO D went over to Spain to DJ in Tenerife. He asked me to come over & check it out. I arrived on the Friday, got a job on Saturday & started work on Sunday. Yep, as easy as that!!! CLASSIQUE SOUND SYSTEM::..... In 2005 I met up with an old friend Ganzi & joined CLASSIQUE SOUND. Because of my Reggae & Dancehall background I quickly adapted. As Classique Sound are one of the leading sound systems in the UK it has bettered my career, with my supporters & classique supports I brought a different cliental to the sound. As I also play R&B which the sound didn’t have a specialist in it brought a whole new feel to the sound. As Classique we have another Sound in Jamaica is like an Identical Brother to Classique UK.
