So it is true, I am a Star Wars and Comic book geek... I have most of the post star wars books, still lost in a galaxy far far away. Christopher Moore rocks as well. If you haven't read Practical Demon Keeping or any of his other books you are mising out. Charles de Lint, the father of the Urban Fairie book genre with books like Moonheart, Trader and The Onion Girl. Dan Brown, Michael Crighton, Tanya Huff, C.S. Lewis, and J.R.R Tolkien. I enjoy Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child's books with the very interesting Special Agent Pendergast. Stephen King and Neil Gaiman are always a pleasure as well. If I am not reading something like that I am reading something about King Arthur, The Knights Templar and other stuff like that.
Heroes. The first people that come to mind are my Parents and my Grandparents.I always felt extremly lucky growing up. My Dad and Mom are both awesome. I always felt comfortable coming to them with any problem. Talking to them about anything. I aspire to be as good a parent to Heston as I feel I was lucky to havegrowing up. They are still an inspiration to me today and their to cheer me on as I go after my dreams.A close second has to be my Grandpa Van Cuyck and my Grandpa Fisher. They taught me patience and a sense of humor and were two more of the best role models I could ever had asked for.
