With their jaw dropping mixing style, and unique sound, THE BEATFREAKZ, DJ TOMMY GUNZ and DJ SWIFT are quickly climbing the DJ ranks. Yes, they are amazing djs unto themselves, but when they spin together on 4 and 5 turntables, the dancefloor is guarenteed to be packed and flowing with energy. They have perfected the art of playing 4 records at once, while guiding the club through a seamless maze of bangin tracks. With TOMMY GUNZ dirty, bangin house beats, and SWIFTS intangable elektro cutz, you are guarenteed to be on the dancefloor all night long. As if that is not enough, to this eclectic mix, BOTH DJs throw scratch cutz and turntablism to their set which is amazing to watch; you will definitely find yourself pumping your fists in the air as they drop in some pop, 80's, 80's rock, and some other SUPRISE, jaw dropping, loops over floor pounding electro beats.
THE BEATFREAKZ are quickly being recognized for their fast, UNPREDICTED, and precise "ON THE FLY" mashups, BUT, Electro and House aren't the only genres these two can rock the sh*t out of. They are JUST AS COMFORTABLE behind the decks droppin old skool, hip hop, and top 40. If the club is feelin hip hop, they dive right in and switch it up before you know it, but they'll keep their STYLE flowin, still delivering a TKO with one unique on the fly mash track after another.
They are also both guitarists and percussionists, so on occasion you will see these two break out a huge acoustic drum kit and perform a set with one on the turntables and one CHOPIN-OUT on the drums.
Aside from spinning in the clubs, you can find these two in the studio producing tracks as well. They have produced and remixed several tracks, including "Damaged" (FreakMix), Go Girl (FreakMix), Gimme More (FreakMix), Pure Heat (Beatfreak Party Break), and produced original Electro tracks such as "Star69", "Plasmarace", and "BeatBox 2008", "Deep Love", and on July 15, 2008, they released "Atomic Dog House 2008".
Their debut album "FADED" was released in mid May of 2007, with their follow-up album titled "EARSEX" that dropped DECEMBER 31, 2007. If you havent emailed them to get on the list for one of these cds do so now.
