My passion for music started in 1983' it all happened when my mom "Carol" would
bring me home these Mix-tapes from the Legendary Hawaii DJ Extraordinaire "Dane
Nevis" who she worked with at "Spats Nightclub" in the "Hyatt Regency Waikiki" I
was totally amazed by the smooth extended 12inch long DJ versions of songs & endless music transitions, it was Non-Stop! Wow! "Now we can Break-Dance All Day without stopping" Lol! I Grew up in that nightclub since the age of 6 and was known as one of the "Spats-Kids" Yes, that did have a big influence on me. When I was young I would make mix-tapes with my portable Sanyo double cassette deck radio, Many years later I got two old turntables, one Numark mixer & started to DJ in 1986 at the age of 14, soon after that I ended up the DJ at Spats for a few years before they closed their doors for good. I've been lucky enough to work at many of Honolulu's Hottest night-spots such as: Blue Zebra, Cilly's, The Factory, Zone 24, Sub club, Mooses university, The Access, Rumors, World Cafe @ Restaurant Row & Nimitz, Rhythm House, Maharaja, Buffalo buds, Eurasia, The Maze, Pipeline Cafe, Zanza Bar, Reign, Zen & many more. Also spun on air @ Hot I-94, 93.1 KQMQ, Jammin 93.1, 104.3 XME,
