My name is Rob....I am a lifelong fan of the one and only Red Skelton...This page is a tribute to him and his long career...Hope you will enjoy the ride down memory lane with me!!!!! Red Skelton was born in Vincennes Indiana on July 18,1913.....The youngest son of a circus clown,He followed his fathers love for show business...At the age of twelve,Red worked with Doc Lewis Medicine Show doing song and dance,but mostly clowning..then after a succession of jobs,he got a job in a Burlesque show,meeting his first wife Edna..He then worked in vaudeville, radio and His own show,then into movies and finally television...Following his shows cancellation in 1970,He worked on his passion ,art...and did many concerts and college campus apearances..He had 2 children,Valentina and Richard by his second wife Georgia.He married his third wife Lothian Toland and spent his last years very happy and content...
