I was born in Cyprus in 1982. I started playing the guitar at a young age, and the drums when I was 15 years old. I’ve been a member of the band Sulphur since 2002, and played many different styles of music in many different bands, as a session drummer. In 2003 I moved to Athens and had my first private lessons with Ilias Doumanis. I graduated from Nakas Conservatory, in Athens, Greece, in 2005 with the degree in modern music and drums. In 2005 I moved to the Netherlands and had private lessons with Hans Van Oosterhout, and followed several workshops in Greece and in Holland by Kostas Anastasiades, Stefanos Dimitriou, Spyros Panagiotopoulos, Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Steve Smith, Jeff Ballard. Since 2006 I’m studying jazz with Eric Ineke, Stefan Kruger and Joost Patocka in the Royal Conservatoire of The Netherlands.
