I was born in the island of Cyprus in 1982.I began messing around with the drumset when i was 16 and i was playing in bands with friends.Mostly rock,heavy music.At the age of 20 i moved to Athens for studies and i began taking private drum lessons.My first drum teacher was Giorgos Mitsotakis.Then several drum clinics followed by Stefanos Dimitriou,Kwstas Anastasiadis,Dennis Chambers,Dom Famularo,Thomas Lang,Ndugu Chancler and many more.After 4 years in Athens playing with bands like Fort Nox,Samurai Trio,percussion ensemble Ixodrasi (with Nikos Touliatos as a leader) and working with independent artists such as Thodwris Karellas,Antwnis Mintzelos and teaching private lessons i moved to Hollywood,California to attend the PIT program at Musician's Institute.I took lessons and studied with Joel Taylor, Chuck Silverman,Donny Gruendler,Chuck Flores,Rob Carson,Andrew Megna and i'm still practising and focusing on funk,jazz,fusion,electronic,experimental.I graduated on October.I'm back in Athens.Things are going pretty well.Playing some funky music(my favorite stuff) with a band called Funkollectiv, playing some soul with a band calles Groovebusters, and some fusion/rock with Dimitis Monn and the music adventure team trio.peace!!!
