Many things interest me. You interest me. No wait, you don't. Scratch that. Let's start over.
Things I like:
Movies, TV, theatre, books, internet... let's just say "media", acting, writing, reading, cooking , eating, drinking, karaoke at the Oxwood Inn , photo editing, giant purses, lazy weekends, raising hell with the Kablammo's, taking notes, making lists, getting crafty with my bad self, conceptualizing grandiose plans that I will never carry out (see Designing Furniture), Super Smash Bros. (especially for the Wii). Oh, and applause.
Anyone who can help me fully realize (that is, "to make real; give reality to", not "to grasp or understand clearly") my dreams of being able to make a living off the entertainment industry and remaining clothed all at the same time.
And of course, you.
Now playing:
"Take Off Your Sunglasses" by Ezra Fuhrman and the Harpoons
I heart this song
Check my LA Anti-Socialite blog, which I'm trying to keep posted with movie reviews. They take up too much space here.
But I will keep...
The "It" Trailers
Vicky Cristina Barcelona I think I need a cigarette after just watching the trailer. Can we just call this "Javier Bardem Bangs Everyone... and Then They Bang Each Other"?
Burn After Reading This makes me happy because it marks the return of something I've been missing: Kooky Dorky Brad Pitt. Enough of this Neo-Rat Pack Suave Brad Pitt, Serious Dramatic Brad Pitt and Humanitarian Adopt-the-World Brad Pitt. This is how I like him, borderline bat-shit crazy.
The "Big Fat Boo" List:
Oh, I just don't have enough hate in my heart to put anything in this slot right now.
Hulu is my new best friend.Holy crap! Something on SNL made me laugh! Legitimately! Check it out.

"'What's wrong with a good book?' I asked.
Bowden shrugged. In these days of junk TV, short attention spans and easy-to-digest sound bites, it seemed that the book, the noble device to which both Bowden and I had devoted much of our lives, was being marginalized into just another human story-telling experience also-ran, along with the epic poem, Greek theatre, Jackanory, Beta and Tarzanagrams."
-First Among Sequels, Jasper Fforde
I just read "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for the first time and... well, it's kind of amazing. And I think I'm going to say I love it.
Tina Fey
She's gone from the cool, smart SNL head writer to the cool, smart writer, creator, executive producer and accessable lead-actress of an Emmy award winning comedy. And one that is actually good, which is saying a lot. Plus on the show, she's like Mary Tyler Moore, only cooler and smarter. Not that MTM isn't both of those things.
Cate Blanchett
The woman is a goddess of the acting world. She can do anything. She was even a convincing Bob Dylan.
Katee Sackhoff
The HARBINGER OF DEATH and I love her for it!
Keith Olberman
You had me at "I blame youuu..."
.. ..
Amanda Palmer
In my book, she can do no wrong.
Amy Poehler
(Aww! It's pre-SNL Amy!)
Amy Sedaris = fuckinilarious
Karen O
(a.k.a. The Muthafuckin Bomb)
Jon Stewart
(I love this man.)
Laurie Notaro
If you don't know who she is, then you suck.
And I believe that in some way, I just may be a character in an unwritten Woody Allen movie...
