Mr. Casey

Cheers.

About Me

Me, Eric G., and Gemini 16....I've been lucky enough to be a "big kid" for a living as many of these photos may show. I LOVE my work. I also live for havin' a blast being out with good friends and seldomly find myself at home because of this little habit. Sometimes that's a good thing, mainly it's a cause for some kickass hangovers the next morning!I'm a HUGE animation nut, and there's just no beating the old school classics (Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Tex Avery/MGM classics, old Walt Disney toons, ect.) Recently, I've gone back to my original trained skill and literally returned "back to the drawing board" as my comrades & I have been hard at work creating my OWN cartoon series that's a total throwback to the golden cartoon classics of yesteryear *(Check out samples in my photo album section inside the 'Casey's Artwork' folder!) Here's a wee sample below:Below: At the famous Frolic Room with my good buddy Bryan...Me & a very familiar little critter...........The voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Sylvester, and 1000 others- Mr. Mel Blanc (Well, what's left of 'em anyway!):

My Interests

Interests, ya ask? Hmmm- well, going to movies or watching our buddies bands play, dinner and drinks with good friends, DVDs on a day off/rainy day, and cooking breakfast in the morning for Amy- the gal who won my heart! Love all things 'Old Hollywood'- the long lost Golden Age of Tinseltown from the 1920's right through the 40's;Living here it's almost impossible NOT to imagine our town during such a time- such music, style, and haunting beauty that still lingers in the air (along with craploads of smog!) For this reason I've devoted alot of time searching and photographing famous homes, landmarks, and locations that are really not on the map anymore, or even cease exsist for that matter- a kind of "Ghostly Documentation" if you will. It's for these reasons I also feel very lucky working in these enviornments when part of a film crew- ALWAYS a variety bag of settings, situations, beauty, boredom, stress, excitement, and most of all, fun. Oh yeah, and like most folks, I REALLY enjoy a good 'ol Western Whip Fight!...*Me & Steve Guttenberg (Remember Cocoon, 3 Men & A Baby, & all those Police Academy films?)...*Juuuuuuust after we captured The Mighty Kong! Sadly, 6 lives were lost (that's me on the far left)...(Man Oh Man did this make for some good eatin' !!!)(Below: Takin' "Little Ernie" out for a brisk & meat-filled walk!)-Below: Lounging at the infamous Bates Motel from 'PSYCHO'.....Ah yes, Disneyland's 'Haunted Mansion'- Best Ride On Earth!!!*Me & my good pal Eric on the Grand Staircase!*Gettin' a spooky singin' lesson from the infamous Singing Busts!"Grimm Grinning Ghosts Come Out To Socialize!"
