About Me

After 20+ years of doing this and that in what's known as 'the independent music biz' I've finally decided to go commercial. Yes! And no. With my company Schwarte Producties I'm focusing on the visual promotion of bands and artists. Being a firm believer of the Do It Yourself ethic, I'm doing it -euhm- all by myself, from a low budget point of view, for preferably promising and hopefully plain nice bands. I'm trying to offer a cheap but good alternative with the main focus being on Electronic Press Kits (or trailers). A visual bio that can serve as a means of promotion for the industry. And also as a master which can be (re-)edited by the bands for You Tube, MySpace, websites, etc. Of course videos can also be part of the deal, but I think it's fair to say I'm no professional video producer. Think 'basic' on this one. Hopefully I can support my local scene, which is a mostly rocking one still in Groningen, Holland. But let me quickly add that any band with a more commercial mindset is welcome as well. For I have no boundaries...There's two videos here to give you an impression. www.schwarteproducties.nl is the official site, it's in dutch. When the sun is out you and your sports team can also hire me for a nice portrait of you and your buddies on DVD. Game-action shots, pre- and post-game pictures, and of course intros of all members.I don't mind talking non-biz related stuff here as well.
