My Mothers People live in Western Australia & are originally from The Clan MacGilivray, from the Isle of Skye in Scotland. My Fathers people live in New South Wales, Australia, as well as in York, UK & are originally from Sommerset, UK. I’ve lived in Whaingaroa, Aotearoa, (under the Goddess mountain, Mt Karioi) for the last two years...

A Trinity College Scholar of Classical Litergical Singing (under Dr Christopher Dearnley, of St Pauls Cathedral, London) Samantha has also studied world music, movement, complimentry medicine & healing disciplines at University. Encouraged at an early age by her Celtic Nana, to explore her nature honoring & spiritual heritage; Samantha was drawn to glean deeper understanding of Spirit & Earth Wisdom by travelling Oceania, alongside Fijian, Aboriginal & Maori Elders, as well studying eco-spiritual-sustainable lifestyles at festivals & communities. Samantha is a practicing senior therapist at wellness retreats, Ministering in song to the seriously ill in the Starlight Children’s Foundation, Mental Health centres, & the Palliative care wards in hospitals; as well as performing at peace & cultural understanding festivals around the world. Most recently Samantha has been facilitating group singing circles & meditations, in Aotearoa, focused on freeing-up-self-expression, peace & happiness.

The Coney Island Mermaid Parade in New York City, USA~~The Montreal Jazz Festival, Canada~~The York Tower in the UK~~The Big Green Gathering Eco Festival, Cheddar, UK~~Stone Henge, UK~~Avebury, UK~~Glen Coe, Scotland, UK~~Monte Carlo chapple, France~~GraFest Raglan/Whaingaroa,NZ/Aotearoa~~~ SInce then Ive Been working hard as a therapist on the foundation team co-creating and running the programme at a Mental Wellness Retreat, which we began 3 years ago-it is a retreat for Woman who are experiencing the effects of trauma, stress or depression. It is a beautiful place, on a 12 acre perm culture farm, on the banks of the Waikato river, in an old Monastery. Ive been facilitating workshops, playing with music, singing ,movement, relaxation, meditation & teaching self care techniques.I feel passionately that the mental Health sector internationally needs an overhaul and I am honoured to be able to contribute to the beginning of what is hopefully a new wave of positive social change towards mental wellness, human evolution, sustainability and hope. This winter, I have chosen to relocate to Queensland, Australia, to begin working at The Fountain head retreat where I will be lifecoaching & running workshops on the ’beat the blues’ programme there...Im really looking forward to it!***
