Give Peace A Chance 2008

About Me

ACHIM SCHULTZ..... As I saw 1963 the Beatles and specially Paul McCartney, with his Höfner Beatles Bass, I was fascinated. The sound of this legendary bass was immediately in my head and had never left.I love and admire this Violin bass until today. I bought in 2005 my first 500/1 and played every song,on my new album with it. I had no idea if I was able to play it, but because of love to this instrument, sensible bass lines came to my mind, which, to my pleasure, got praised by many auditors. At this point, I would like to thank KARL HÖFNER GmbH & CO. KG, D- 91083 BAIERSDORF/-HAGENAU GERMANY.............................................. Obviously the wonderful photo realistic cover drawing wasn't paintet this time by KLAUS VOORMANN, but by the second BEATLES-ANTHOLOGY-DRAWER, ALFONS KIEFER. My Hoefner bass on which I'm placed as a minituare me on the cover, symbolizes "Think Big". Without criticizing anything or anyone this expression stands in my perception for more TOLERANCE; more LOVE; more HONESTY; more REGARD; more FREEDOM; and PEACE; and no abuse of POWER anymore. For the latter, JOHN LENNON fighted for. -- ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------My dear friend and musician Fryderyk Gabowicz he left us----------------The whole interview of Klaus Voormann & Alfons Kiefer

Sounds Like: Achim Schultz----------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------ The Idea for "THINK BIG" has it's origin in a memory that generosity, humor, tolerance, happyness, cooperativeness and peaceableness are actually remunerative attributes. But since always people have a disposition to be small-minded, illiberated relating to abuse of power and to be self-served at relations, as well as they think self served in policy. All of these things, had been the identical things that JOHN LENNON had sensed as bad. So he pointet with campaigns, that these attributs can lead to war. In my song "Give Peace A Chance" I sing in prospect of John Lennon. Nearly 40 years have gone and nothing has changed.............................------------------------ ---
--------------------------------My friend Rumpel Fool / Jolly Goodfellow he is an artist in the Beatles "Love" show at the Mirage/Las Vegas. He had a bad dream there and therefore I wrote him the song: "Jolly Goodfellow" you can listen to him here.------------------------
