Space Cadet is a Jewelry line that offers one of a kind, unique designs made with up to 75% Recycled materials. Each piece is handmade, using new and vintage items...and...just like people, no two pieces are alike.Designs for Space Cadet are inspired by ethnic art and music.I would describe my work as environmentally conscious for the fashion savvy girl.
Each piece is carefully constructed by hand, and tested for endurance, and because they are all handmade each one is different. My designs incorporate recycled materials as much as possible. I use a variety of beads, stones, brass, and precious metals as well as hearts cut from vinyl records, reused chain, game pieces, bottle caps and other interesting finds. I enjoy the challenge of working with non traditional materials, and I am always open to suggestions. My goal is to encourage re-use, and recycling in much more creative ways.
