All of my products are designed & created, using recycled rubber. There are many reasons why I choose to work with rubber, but a few of the most powerful reasons are because: I'm reusing goods that would otherwise be toxic to the environment & wind up in a land fill, to help reduce consumption and waste for my customer and myself, and it's animal friendly too!!
After gathering the rubber tubes from local recycle friendly bicycle shops and fellow riders, I prepare and organize them by size for stitching, using my ‘Suzie’ Thompson mini walking foot, industrial sewing machine. I have created all of my own designs and patterns and am continually working on new creations. You'll notice that as well as using recycled rubber, I also incorporate vintage and one of a kind fabric textiles on my creations. I collect all sorts of fabrics and focus my finds on rare prints and patterns. My creations consist of a variety of wallets, cuffs, belts, pocket books, purses, journals, messenger/computer bags, and clothing! I encourage custom ordering, although it is unnecessary, because whatever you buy from me is one of a kind!! 10% of all profits will be donated to a global environmental charity and a local community non-profit organization.
