We are located in the heart of sunny downtown Phoenix, at 901 N 5th St., NE corner of Garfield and 5th St. Conspire is open 6:00am to Midnight, Monday through Friday, 8am to Midnight on Saturday, and 10am to 8pm on Sundays. We are also open for events, classes, art openings, and art fairs. Check our calender for more info. Plus look out for the return of the Third Saturday Art Market this fall!! Conspire is an offshoot of the Collectively Operated Local Artists Boutique, C.O.L.A.B., and previous to that The Downstairs Collective. Some of the founding members from C.O.L.A.B. and Downstairs are a part of this new project including Joey G of Mob Action, Lisa Jacobs aka Sticker Club Girl, and Spray Graphic Apparel. At Conspire we feature hand made clothing for men women and children. Over two dozen local artists carry their lines of clothing, fashion accessories, designer jewelry, fine art, kitchy crafts, ceramics, photography, printmaking, purses, knit and crochet goodies, hats, wallets, buttons, magnets, greeting cards, stained glass, hand made soaps, books, robots, paper, and more hand crafted, and locally made goods. In this lounge style shop we offer classes and workshops for the community to participate in. In the back room there is a community library by Mob Action University with a wide variety of books and zines available to read, check out, and purchase. Conspire has partnered with John Sagasta of the The Coffee Conspiracy to bring you hand made coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, including homemade chai, italian soda. The Coffee Conspiracy also features bagels, fruit, pastries, and the jewel of 5th St: Alex's Burritos. Conspire collective member include Mob Action, Joey G, Sticker Club Girl, Lisa Jacobs, John Sagasta, Dubnosis, Lacie Bug Designs, Spray Graphic Apparel, Tara Kratzner-Bills, Tom Budzak, Button Man, 8 to 4 greeting cards, Smock You, Lola and Lola, Unique Treasure's, Mystic Threads, Marcero Jewelry, Alex DJentrification, Arte Puro, Beso de Muerto, Black Eyed Saint, Make Shift, Space Boy Jordo and many more local artists and designers.Some of the events that we have on an ongoing basis include First Friday Art Walk, Third Friday Art opening, Third Saturday Art Market(returning in the fall of 08), Tuesday night Mob Action University Library Night, and Wednesday night Sticker Club Art Night. Monday night is now game night come by and join in the fun, bring your favorite game or join in with us. Come by and visit with us, check out the goods and enjoy some coffee!
