Mr Greg Branch is one of the few legendary unsigned producers in QueensBridge projects. At the eary age of 15 he developed a talent for writing rap lyrics for himself and other mc's. After mastering that he persued and interest in becoming a dj which later gave him the ability to start making music. Growing up in an envirnment with such artists as Mc shan,Marley Marl,Roxxanne Shante,Craig-g and tragedy. At the age of 17 he quickly became one of the most highly sought after producer in the neighborhood after the absence of Marley Marl. His talents and passion for music was also reconized by an owner of a recording studio in Jamaica Queens. He could not believe how focused and passionate he was about his craft at such an early age. The owner was so moved he fired his lazy engineer and hired greg without any recording experience. It took no time for this young man to master the recording studio. Greg later became the head engineer at the age of 18. Years later after having a stroke at the age of 24 at his job he recovered and made a decision to open up his own studio with a fellow engineer. The studio was called "A Touch Of Soul" It was one of the hottest studios in Brooklyn. Once again greg and his passion for music was slowly changing the recording studio industry. Clients were leaving multi million dollar studios to record at a Touch of Soul. Most engineers were good at wasting time while greg was interested at doing a good job quickly. He did what right for the client 100% of the time and thats how he built such a following. Clients included Dana Dane,50 cent,Jazzy Jay just to name a few. He also had the opportunity to record with other artists and rap icons such as Davey D,Disco Twins,Crash Crew, Eric Sadler (Public Enemy)Large Professor,Screwball,Cormega and the late Big Pun. As for now he is current interest is artist developement(A&R) and finding a label or production company in N.Y. or fl to excersize his skills and his passion for music.
