NO GRACE are the songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Michi & drummer Ines Baum. They found their project at the turn of the millenium 2000. Since then they were supported by different and experienced musicians from the szene environs Hamburg. In December 2007 the bass player Melina join the band and belongs from now on to the NO GRACE-Songwriter-Team.
In the beginning the compositions of NO GRACE were rough and includes various styles, and it was already possible to hear the individuality of the songwriter-duo with a clear progressive touch.
2006 the concept-album “Pro Leben†was published, which marked the end of a musical period. Michi’s lyrics had right from the start a sociocritical character. At “Pro Leben†he combines poesie & sociocriticism and performed a positive mixture. He describes real personalitys which acted with courage of one’s concivtions and go all out for humanity and the care of the environment, often under the hardest conditions.
At this time the NO GRACE-trio works at a new programme, now classify clearly to the genre Progressive Gothic Rock.Music & magic - You may be anxious!
