MY BIO:
I am an artist by all accounts... I am an award winning screenwriter, painter, short film director, former actress, poet, and an occassional Alchemist. I am a graduate from University of Southern California Film School with a BA in Film Production, and hold an MA in Screenwriting from The American Film Institute. I also studied with Frater Albertus, completing Prima and Secunda Classes in Practical Laboratory Alchemy at Paracelsus College. I also studied art at The Art Student's League, N.Y.
I am primarily here to connect with creative people, and am interested in meeting an executive producer(s) who'd be interested in producing/and or funding a few of my film projects.
I am currently focusing on the one below:
"Hollywood Boulevard" is dramatically inspired by the 1952 film, "Limelight", by Sir Charles Chaplin. The story of an has-been, alcoholic, spaghetti western actor who saves the life of a young, struggling singer/actress 40 years his junior. He takes her in, cares for her, they fall in love, and he passes on the torch of fame to her as his star wanes. Think of this film as a hybrid between "Moulin Rouge" and "A Star is Born"!
"Hollywood Boulevard" is a powerful story about love, second chances and redemption.
I wrote it under an exclusive option from the Chaplin family, and Roy Exports. I am currently seeking Film Financing to start production on the project. PRINCIPLES ONLY should inquire about this project.
