Under pressure, one month of time, 4 songs to perform: it was chaos. Noah Oiknine and Roy Heskel had accepted a small gig that was offered to them in their Senior year of high school. With no band, no songs, and no direction to go.... all they had was the dream to play for an audience. In desperation they had convinced their friend Adam Paul-Reuven to join their group. All that was left was to find a singer: an almost impossible task in such a short period of time. They had luckily found Ziv Biton and got to work. They had created 4 songs in 3 weeks and managed to pull off an incredible show. From there on they called themselves Downstream Clash. Through the summer of 07' Downstream Clash had set up shows week after week and started making a name for themselves. Hitting the studio they recorded their first demo cd. Posting it on their myspace they were pulling crowds of over 100 people in venues such as B.B. Kings, Whiskey A GO-GO, ROXY, CIA and more. When September hit, after 3 months as a band, Ziv Biton(Vocalist) and Adam Paul Reuven(drummer) had decided to study abroad and the band was on break for half a year. Noah(Bass) and Roy(Guitar) continued to work on music while they waited for the band to regroup. During January 08', Adam had decided to come back however, Ziv decided that the rocker life style was not for him. In hopes of continuing the band the remaining members searched for a new vocalist. After many auditions they came across David Tal. They welcomed him to their band and had a clear path ahead of them. Working together on many songs and a variety of styles, Downstream Clash began another uphill climb to the top. The name Downstream Clash provides a sense of diversity in which the band hopes to reach their amazing fans and audience. We Will Rock Your World. We are DOWNSTREAM CLASH!
