Hi! Thanks for stopping by and checking out our page. We are simple, honest people who work hard and love hanging out with our kids and enjoying the beauty of Maui! Unfortunately working hard to make it in Hawaii meant we didn't have much time for hanging out with our kids! So we began to search for ways to take back our freedom and create more choices for ourselves. We have found that having an open mind and being willing to be taught by others who already have what we want, has opened a whole new world for us.
Our Background:
We grew up in the land of auto factories and Motown - Detroit Michigan. We came from hard working middle class families. Even at a young age we were looking for more opportunities and freedom.
Which brought us to Maui in 1995, looking for a new start. We have always belived in taking a chance when an opportunity presented itself and when things fell into place to move here, we went for it! We loved the climate and safety of this small island. However, we quickly learned there was a "price of paradise" and it is high! Our first five years here were tough, as the wages were low even for skilled labor and the cost of everything is high. We quickly got into large credit card debt and after our second son was born we found ourselves declaring bankruptcy. I was then I really learned that not having money didn't make me any less of a person, but it sure took away a lot of my choices. Choices that were really important to me, like being able to be with our two kids while they are young and not have them practically raised by someone else. Thankfully this became a turning point for us and helped us take more chances with our businesses and expand them.
Soon after Nick's landscape business began to grow and today he has built an excellent reputation and clientele. Colleen, who was cleaning homes herself, began to leverage here time by having employees. Even though this changed our lifestyle and brought us more prosperity there was still some kinks. Nick found that his business depended so much on him always being there and Colleen realized the headaches of having employees. For both of us there was no leaving our job at the office. Yet we knew we were on to something with leveraging our time to free us from always having to be there to do the work!
So that led us to being open to finding new ways to create streams of income. And when we discovered it was possible to do this with others as business partners instead of employees, we were really excited. Leverage and diversity is what we are talking about. With these two keys we found ways to unlock doors we had not even known were there. To not let a business "own us" but be earning money even when we are not there.
A New Perspective:
We had first heard of network marketing about 17 years ago and have been involved in several opportunities in that time. We had never been able to really grasp what was needed of us to make it work though we were intrigued and saw the potential. One of the biggest draws for us was being able to help others realize their financial dreams.
About a year ago Nick was approached by a customer about a company that was doing network marketing with a new approach. We found this company to be very stable and ready for immense growth in the very near future. Most of all, the amount of training and support that was available right from the beginning was incredible. Truly like nothing we had seen in all of our 17 years.
We are here to share what we have learned about time freedom and more abundance. We have found the starting point is finding what your passion and dreams are and what life you would like to create. We are building a team of like minded individulas, with a burning desire for something more in their lives. One of the best parts in all of this is helping others to start dreaming again and showing them a road to reach those dreams. For Colleen, who is an ordained Minister and a Hospice volunteer, one dream is to start a center where people can come to have a peaceful transition when they die.
